Join JMBF from anywhere in the world and help raise resources to promote justice, equality, and dignity for people facing discrimination and violence in Bangladesh.
JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) invites committed individuals to join our team as Fundraising Volunteers. This remote, unpaid opportunity is open to people who wish to contribute their skills in research, writing, communications, and donor engagement to support human rights.
About JMBF
JMBF is a France-based nonprofit human rights organisation working to advance human rights, access to justice, equality, and accountability in Bangladesh.
Our work includes monitoring and documenting human rights violations, conducting research, raising public awareness, and advocating for people and communities facing violence, discrimination, and exclusion. We give particular attention to LGBTQI+ rights and the protection of vulnerable and marginalised communities.
Through advocacy, awareness campaigns, and collaboration with individuals and organisations, we work to amplify affected communities’ voices and mobilise support for their rights.
How You Can Contribute
Fundraising volunteers will help JMBF sustain and develop its human rights work. Depending on your skills and availability, you may:
- Research donors, foundations, and relevant grant opportunities.
- Help prepare grant applications, project proposals, and donor appeals.
- Develop materials for online fundraising campaigns.
- Support donor communications and follow-up in coordination with the JMBF team.
- Assist remotely with fundraising events and partnership outreach.
- Maintain records of funding opportunities, application deadlines, and fundraising activities.
Who We Are Looking For
We welcome applicants who are committed to human rights, equality, inclusion, and social justice.
Strong research, writing, communication, and organisational skills are valuable. Experience in fundraising, grant writing, nonprofit communications, or donor engagement is an advantage, but not essential. English and/or French language skills are welcome.
Students, professionals, and others interested in contributing their time and skills are encouraged to apply. Applicants based anywhere in the world are welcome.
Volunteer Arrangement
This is a remote, unpaid volunteer role. Volunteers can contribute from their location and collaborate with the JMBF team online.
Responsibilities, time commitments, and working arrangements will be discussed and agreed with each selected volunteer, taking availability and time zones into account.
Volunteers must respect confidentiality, safeguard sensitive information, and uphold the dignity and privacy of the people whose rights we work to protect.
