Ms. Valeriya Budiuk has been serving as a volunteer with JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) since 1 October 2026, contributing her academic knowledge and research skills to support the organisation’s work in defending human rights and assisting people facing injustice and discrimination.
She studied psychology in the Netherlands, with a focus on clinical psychology and additional studies in forensic psychology and cognitive neuropsychology. Her academic studies also explored trust in law and institutions, providing her with an interdisciplinary perspective on the relationship between psychology, justice, and human rights.
Through academic projects, Ms. Budiuk gained experience in conducting interviews, analysing data, and reviewing scientific research. At JMBF, she applies these skills to support human rights monitoring, documentation, research, and reporting.
Her engagement with JMBF reflects a shared commitment to documenting human rights violations, advocating for victims, combating discrimination, and making injustice more visible. Through her volunteer contribution, she supports JMBF’s broader efforts to advance human rights and assist people facing violations in their pursuit of justice. She can be reached at valeriya.budiuk@jmbf.org.
