Md. Sajjadul Bari is a dedicated human rights defender with over a decade of committed activism in the fields of human rights, democracy, good governance, and social justice, with a particular focus on promoting and protecting civil and political rights in Bangladesh. Throughout his career, he has been actively engaged in policy-oriented initiatives aimed at fostering accountability, transparency, and respect for fundamental freedoms. His work demonstrates a deep commitment to empowering marginalized communities and strengthening democratic institutions through peaceful and constructive engagement.
Academically, Mr. Bari has studied Master’s degree in Computational Science and Engineering at Umeå University, Sweden, and has also earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Combining his technical expertise with his passion for human rights and justice, Md. Sajjadul Bari continues to be a tireless advocate for equality, fairness, and the rule of law both in Bangladesh and beyond.
