We work to defend human rights, promote social justice, and empower marginalised communities in Bangladesh and beyond. Our work combines community-centred legal assistance, human rights monitoring and documentation, fact-finding, public advocacy, research, and capacity building. We document concerns, bring them to the attention of relevant authorities and the public, and support efforts to secure protection, accountability, and access to justice.
We work in both Bangladesh and France. Some activities are specific to one country, while others connect our work across both settings and with European and international partners. The way we provide support depends on the location, the needs of the people concerned, our partners, and the services available.
