Paris, France | 20 July 2026: JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF), a France-based international human rights organization, expresses its deep concern and strongly condemns the bulldozing, looting, and arson attack carried out on the night of 17 July against the residence of Kazi Mizanur Rahman (Lovlu), President of the Madhabkhali Union Awami League and former Chairman of the Madhabkhali Union Parishad in Mirzaganj Upazila, Patuakhali, allegedly solely because of his political affiliation.

Paris-based human rights organisation JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) is deeply shocked and gravely concerned over the brutal killing of Advocate Nayem Kibria (35), a pro–Awami League lawyer and a practising member of the Pabna District Judge Court, who was beaten to death by an organised mob in the Bashundhara Residential Area of Dhaka on the night of 31 December 2025.

Paris, France; 09 July 2025: JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) expresses deep concern and strong condemnation over the persistent organized violence in Bangladesh under the current interim government led by Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus. Government-backed groups and affiliated gangs have normalized violence across the country. Despite this alarming situation, the government remains indifferent, failing to take effective measures or legal action against perpetrators. JMBF, a France-based human rights organization, believes this inaction flagrantly violates the Constitution of Bangladesh and fundamental human rights as recognized by the United Nations.
