BIHR and JusticeMakers of Bangladesh strongly demanded that the accused persons involved in endangering the personal safety and security of the sexual minority lesbian teenagers in Sadar Upazila of Lakshipur district by exposing their love and marriage incidents should be quickly identified, arrested, and impartially investigated, and the perpetrators should be given exemplary punishment at the end of a speedy and transparent trial process.

JusticeMakers Bangladesh have expressed their deep concern over the recent
chaos about
the incident of same-sex love and
marriage of two homosexual lesbian teenagers came to light in Lakshipur
district.
Bangladeshi Human Rights Lawyer Shahanur Islam Received Repeated Death Threats!
Shahanur Islam, a prominent human rights lawyer and gay rights campaigner in Bangladesh received repeated death threats SMS over his mobile phone.
Recently on 25th August and 6th September 2022, he received separate two death threats messages along with his wife and kid over his mobile phone.
On 25th August 2022 around at 10:17 pm BST, Mr. Islam received threats message in English language over his phone from an unidentified number. The message states that if you don’t stop fighting aims to establishment of homosexual rights in BD, immediately you will be killed along with your family members brutally.

BIHR and JusticeMakers Bangladesh extremely concern over the order to refrain from taking classes to the homosexual teacher of Savar Model College.
Human rights organizations BIHR and JusticeMakers Bangladesh have expressed extreme concern and protest over the order not to take classes to a homosexual teacher of Savar Model College.
BIHR and JusticeMakers Bangladesh believe that because of being a teacher of homosexual nature, refrain him from taking classes is a clear violation of the Constitution of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, due to students protest patronized by the homophobic people.
On 28 and 29 August 2022, the news published in various
electronic and print media revealed that the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) has
ordered Ramzan Ali, a homosexual teacher, to refrain from taking classes due to continued students' agitation in
Savar Model College.

Bangladeshi human rights organisation JusticeMakers has expressed gravely concern over the recent killing of trans woman in Dhaka. It also urges to the government of Bangladesh to arrest all the culprits who were involved with the brutal murder of transgender woman and bring the culprits before the book and give exemplary punishment after quick and impartial investigation.
According to the news published on different newspaper that Maksudur Rahman Diana, a transgender woman’s body was recovered from a room inside a single-storey house in Golap Bagh of Wari in the capital on August 27 afternoon.

Three get life term jail for killing homosexual Awami League leader in Khulna
After14 years of murder, a Khulna court in Bangladesh sentenced three youths for life term imprisonment on Monday 31 July 2022 on charges of killing former joint secretary of city unit of Awami League as well as a homosexual gay Khan Ibne Zaman on October 13 in 2008.
The convicts are- Sheikh Tayebur Rahman alias Iran, Apurba kumar Biswas and Md Shohag Sheikh.
