Paris, France | 29 August 2026: JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) expresses its deep concern and unequivocal condemnation over the arbitrary mass arrests of at least 32 leaders, activists and supporters of the Bangladesh Awami League (AL), Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Jubo League and affiliated political groups in Gazipur and Netrokona on 28 August 2026, following alleged political processions, gatherings and the expression of political slogans.

Paris, France; May 7, 2025 — France-based human rights watchdog, JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF), expresses grave concern and unequivocal condemnation over the recent incidents involving the physical assault, arbitrary arrest, and custodial detention of three Bangladeshi lawyers: Advocate Sanjit Kumar Pandit in Netrakona on May 2, and Advocates Shahjahan Saju and Nasir Uddin Bahar in Feni on May 5 and 6, respectively.
