JMBF Elects New Executive Committee for the 2026–2029 Term

Paris, France | 4 June 2026:
JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) is pleased to announce that its newly elected Executive Committee for the 2026–2029 term officially assumed office on 1 June 2026, following the organization's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held virtually on 31 May 2026.

The Executive Committee was elected unanimously, as there was no contest for any of the positions. The unanimous election reflects the trust, confidence, and unity of JMBF's members in the organization's leadership and their shared commitment to advancing human rights, democracy, the rule of law, and social justice.

This Executive Committee is the second elected leadership since the establishment of JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) in 2023. The newly elected committee will serve a three-year term, from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2029.

Advocate Shahanur Islam was unanimously re-elected as President, having served in this position since the founding of JMBF on 1 June 2023.

Mr. Sharif Mostafa Helal and Ms. Tanni Bithi Sardar were re-elected as Vice Presidents, while Advocate Mohammad Alamgir was re-elected as Secretary General. They previously served in the same respective positions during JMBF's inaugural Executive Committee (2023–2026).

Ms. Fatema Khatun was newly elected as Treasurer, while Ms. Jannatul Ferdaus, who served as a Member of the Executive Committee during the 2023–2026 term, was elected Assistant Secretary General.

In addition, Ms. Razia Binte Ahmed, Ms. Farzana Yeasmin, and Ms. Nafisa Rahman Sreya were newly elected as Members of the Executive Committee for the 2026–2029 term.

The newly elected Executive Committee has pledged to further strengthen JMBF as an independent, non-profit, and non-partisan human rights organization dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights, democracy, equality, justice, and the rule of law in Bangladesh and beyond. During its three-year mandate, the Committee will continue to expand JMBF's advocacy, research, legal support, international engagement, and strategic partnerships to advance human rights and protect vulnerable and marginalized communities.

JMBF extends its sincere appreciation to all its members for their continued confidence and support. The organization also congratulates the newly elected Executive Committee and wishes its members every success in carrying out their responsibilities with dedication, integrity, and professionalism.

প্যারিস, ফ্রান্স | ৪ জুন ২০২৬: জাস্টিসমেকার্স বাংলাদেশ ইন ফ্রান্স (জেএমবিএফ)-এর ২০২৬–২০২৯ মেয়াদের নবনির্বাচিত নির্বাহী কমিটি ২০২৬ সালের ১ জুন আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেছে। এর আগে ৩১ মে ২০২৬ তারিখে ভার্চুয়াল মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠিত সংগঠনের বার্ষিক সাধারণ সভা (Annual General Meeting - AGM)-এ নতুন নির্বাহী কমিটি সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে নির্বাচিত হয়।

নির্বাহী কমিটির প্রতিটি পদে একক প্রার্থী থাকায় নির্বাচন বিনা প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতায় সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে সম্পন্ন হয়। এই সর্বসম্মত নির্বাচন সংগঠনের সদস্যদের আস্থা, ঐক্য এবং মানবাধিকার, গণতন্ত্র, আইনের শাসন ও সামাজিক ন্যায়বিচার প্রতিষ্ঠায় জেএমবিএফ-এরলক্ষ্য ও নেতৃত্বের প্রতি তাদের দৃঢ় অঙ্গীকারের প্রতিফলন।

২০২৩ সালে জেএমবিএফ প্রতিষ্ঠার পর এটি দ্বিতীয় নির্বাহী কমিটি। নবনির্বাচিত কমিটি ১ জুন ২০২৬ থেকে ৩১ মে ২০২৯ পর্যন্ত তিন বছরের জন্য দায়িত্ব পালন করবে।

অ্যাডভোকেট শাহানুর ইসলাম সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে পুনরায় সভাপতি নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। তিনি জেএমবিএফ প্রতিষ্ঠালগ্ন, অর্থাৎ ১ জুন ২০২৩ হতে এই দায়িত্ব পালন করে আসছেন।

জনাব শরীফ মোস্তফা হেলাল এবং মিস তান্নি বীথি সরকার পুনরায় সহ-সভাপতি নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। এছাড়া অ্যাডভোকেট মোহাম্মদ আলমগীর পুনরায় মহাসচিব নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। তাঁরা সকলেই ২০২৩–২০২৬ মেয়াদের প্রথম নির্বাহী কমিটিতেও একই দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন।

মিস ফাতেমা খাতুন কোষাধ্যক্ষ হিসেবে নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। এছাড়া ২০২৩–২০২৬ মেয়াদে নির্বাহী কমিটির সদস্য হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালনকারী মিস জান্নাতুল ফেরদৌস সহকারী মহাসচিব নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন।

এছাড়া মিস রাজিয়া বিনতে আহমেদ, মিস ফারজানা ইয়াসমিন এবং মিস নাফিসা রহমান শ্রেয়া ২০২৬–২০২৯ মেয়াদের জন্য নির্বাহী কমিটির সদস্য হিসেবে নবনির্বাচিত হয়েছেন।

নবনির্বাচিত নির্বাহী কমিটি জেএমবিএফ-কে একটি স্বাধীন, অলাভজনক ও নির্দলীয় মানবাধিকার সংগঠন হিসেবে আরও শক্তিশালী করার অঙ্গীকার ব্যক্ত করেছে। আগামী তিন বছরে কমিটি মানবাধিকার, গণতন্ত্র, সাম্য, ন্যায়বিচার ও আইনের শাসন প্রতিষ্ঠার লক্ষ্যে সংগঠনের অ্যাডভোকেসি, গবেষণা, আইনি সহায়তা, আন্তর্জাতিক সম্পৃক্ততা এবং কৌশলগত অংশীদারিত্ব আরও সম্প্রসারণে কাজ করবে। পাশাপাশি বাংলাদেশ এবং বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে বসবাসরত প্রান্তিক ও ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ জনগোষ্ঠীর অধিকার সুরক্ষায় কার্যকর ভূমিকা পালন করবে।

জেএমবিএফ সংগঠনের সকল সদস্যের প্রতি তাদের অব্যাহত আস্থা ও সহযোগিতার জন্য আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করছে। একই সঙ্গে নবনির্বাচিত নির্বাহী কমিটির সকল সদস্যকে আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে তাঁদের সফল, দায়িত্বশীল ও নিষ্ঠাপূর্ণ নেতৃত্ব কামনা করছে।

JMBF élit son nouveau Comité exécutif pour le mandat 2026–2029

Paris, France | 4 juin 2026: JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) a le plaisir d'annoncer que son nouveau Comité exécutif pour le mandat 2026–2029 est officiellement entré en fonction le 1er juin 2026, à la suite de l'Assemblée générale annuelle (AGA) tenue en visioconférence le 31 mai 2026.

Le Comité exécutif a été élu à l'unanimité, aucune des fonctions n'ayant fait l'objet de plusieurs candidatures. Cette élection unanime témoigne de la confiance, de l'unité et de l'engagement des membres de JMBF envers les dirigeants de l'organisation et sa mission de promotion des droits humains, de la démocratie, de l'État de droit et de la justice sociale.

Il s'agit du deuxième Comité exécutif élu depuis la création de JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) en 2023. Le nouveau Comité exercera un mandat de trois ans, du 1er juin 2026 au 31 mai 2029.

Maître Shahanur Islam a été réélu à l'unanimité au poste de Président, fonction qu'il occupe depuis la création de JMBF le 1er juin 2023.

M. Sharif Mostafa Helal et Mme Tanni Bithi Sardar ont été réélus Vice-présidents, tandis que Maître Mohammad Alamgir a été réélu Secrétaire général. Tous trois occupaient déjà ces mêmes fonctions au sein du premier Comité exécutif de JMBF (2023–2026).

Au cours de son mandat de trois ans, le Comité poursuivra le développement des activités de plaidoyer, de recherche, d'assistance juridique, de coopération internationale et des partenariats stratégiques de JMBF afin de promouvoir les droits humains et de protéger les personnes et les communautés les plus vulnérables.
