Paris, France; June 29, 2025: JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF), the only France-based human rights organization advocating for the rights of Bangladeshi LGBTQI+ individuals, and Solidarity International LGBTQI (SIL), an organization working globally for LGBTQI+ rights, proudly participated in “Paris Parade 2025,” the largest annual LGBTQI+ march held in Paris.
The vibrant event took place on June 28, beginning at 2 PM from the historic Louvre Museum and continuing to Nation Square, bringing together a sea of participants in a powerful demonstration of solidarity.
Organized by Inter-LGBTQI+, a coalition of LGBTQI+ rights organizations in France, the march attracted hundreds of thousands of LGBTQI+ individuals, allies, and institutions from around the world.
Among the participants were Bangladeshi human rights lawyer and JMBF founder-president Advocate Shahanur Islam, and Robert Simon, chief advisor of JMBF and president of SIL, along with other members of both organizations. Together, they took a strong stand on the global stage, advocating for the rights and dignity of the LGBTQI+ community in Bangladesh and beyond.
Advocate Shahanur Islam stated, “Through our participation in this march, we’ve been able to amplify the voices of Bangladesh’s LGBTQI+ community on an international platform. This event is not merely a celebration—it is a protest against discrimination and injustice.”
Robert Simon added, “LGBTQI+ individuals in Bangladesh and many other parts of the world still face systemic oppression and violence. This march delivers a powerful message of hope, courage, and solidarity to those communities.”
This annual parade is widely recognized as a significant international movement championing LGBTQI+ rights and equality.
Participants marched with colorful displays and resonant slogans, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to diversity, inclusion, and human dignity.

ফ্রান্সে এলজিবিটিকিউআই+ ব্যক্তিদের অধিকার নিয়ে কাজ করা সংগঠনের মোর্চা ইন্টার-এলজিবিটিকিউআই+-এর আয়োজনে এই শোভাযাত্রায় ফ্রান্সসহ বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন দেশের লাখো সমকামী ব্যক্তি, প্রতিষ্ঠান ও সমর্থক অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
শোভাযাত্রায় বাংলাদেশি মানবাধিকার আইনজীবী ও জেএমবিএফ-এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সভাপতি অ্যাডভোকেট শাহানূর ইসলাম এবং জেএমবিএফ-এর প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ও এসআইএল-এর সভাপতি রবার্ট সিমনসহ জেএমবিএফ ও এসআইএল-এর অন্যান্য সদস্যরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন। তারা বাংলাদেশসহ বিশ্বজুড়ে এলজিবিটিকিউআই+ সম্প্রদায়ের অধিকার ও মর্যাদা প্রতিষ্ঠার জন্য আন্তর্জাতিক প্ল্যাটফর্মে শক্ত অবস্থান নেন।
অ্যাডভোকেট শাহানূর ইসলাম বলেন, “আমরা এই শোভাযাত্রায় অংশ নিয়ে আন্তর্জাতিক সমাজে বাংলাদেশের এলজিবিটিকিউআই+ সম্প্রদায়ের কণ্ঠস্বর তুলে ধরতে পেরেছি। এটি শুধু একটি উৎসব নয়, বরং বৈষম্য ও অবজ্ঞার বিরুদ্ধে একটি প্রতিবাদ।”
রবার্ট সিমন বলেন, “বাংলাদেশসহ বিশ্বের অনেক জায়গায় এলজিবিটিকিউআই+ সম্প্রদায়ের জীবনে নানা সীমাবদ্ধতা ও নির্যাতন এখনো বিরাজ করছে। এই শোভাযাত্রা তাদের জন্য সাহস ও সমর্থনের এক বড় বার্তা।”
এই বার্ষিক শোভাযাত্রা এলজিবিটিকিউআই+ সম্প্রদায়ের অধিকার ও সমতার দাবিতে একটি শক্তিশালী আন্তর্জাতিক উদ্যোগ হিসেবে বিবেচিত হয়।
শোভাযাত্রায় অংশগ্রহণকারীরা নানা স্লোগান ও রঙিন আয়োজনের মাধ্যমে বৈচিত্র্য ও সহিষ্ণুতা প্রচারের পক্ষে তাদের দৃঢ় অঙ্গীকার ব্যক্ত করেন।
FRANCE: Participation de JMBF et SIL à la « Paris Parade 2025 » — La plus grande marche annuelle LGBTQI+ de Paris
Paris, France ; 29 juin 2025 : JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF), la seule organisation de défense des droits humains basée en France œuvrant pour les droits des personnes LGBTQI+ bangladaises, et Solidarity International LGBTQI (SIL), une organisation œuvrant à l’échelle mondiale pour les droits des personnes LGBTQI+, ont fièrement participé à la « Paris Parade 2025 », la plus grande marche annuelle LGBTQI+ organisée à Paris.L’événement haut en couleur s’est tenu le 28 juin, à partir de 14h, depuis la cour historique du musée du Louvre jusqu’à la place de la Nation, rassemblant une foule immense dans une puissante démonstration de solidarité.
Organisée par Inter-LGBTQI+, une coalition d’organisations œuvrant pour les droits LGBTQI+ en France, la marche a attiré des centaines de milliers de personnes LGBTQI+, d’allié·e·s et d’institutions venues du monde entier.
Parmi les participants figuraient l’avocat bangladais des droits humains et président fondateur de JMBF, Me Shahanur Islam, ainsi que Robert Simon, conseiller principal de JMBF et président de SIL, accompagnés d'autres membres des deux organisations. Ensemble, ils ont affirmé leur position sur la scène internationale en faveur des droits et de la dignité des communautés LGBTQI+ au Bangladesh et dans le monde.
Me Shahanur Islam a déclaré : « En participant à cette marche, nous avons pu faire entendre la voix de la communauté LGBTQI+ du Bangladesh sur une plateforme internationale. Ce n’est pas seulement une fête, mais un acte de protestation contre la discrimination et l’injustice. »
Robert Simon a ajouté : « Les personnes LGBTQI+ au Bangladesh et dans de nombreuses régions du monde sont encore confrontées à l’oppression et à la violence systémique. Cette marche leur envoie un message fort d’espoir, de courage et de solidarité. »
Cette parade annuelle est largement reconnue comme un mouvement international majeur en faveur des droits et de l’égalité des personnes LGBTQI+.
Les participant·e·s ont défilé avec des pancartes colorées et des slogans puissants, réaffirmant leur engagement indéfectible en faveur de la diversité, de l’inclusion et de la dignité humaine.
