Under the newly signed agreement, both organizations have committed to strengthening their collaboration in key areas. These include joint fundraising initiatives, whereby both parties will identify and pursue funding opportunities within their respective networks, as well as joint editorial production. As part of this collaboration, JMBF will provide source material for publications, which Prison Insider will adapt and publish in accordance with its editorial standards, ensuring joint recognition of both organizations.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to making reliable information accessible and actionable, contributing to global efforts to improve human rights conditions in detention systems.
The MoU will remain in effect for an initial period of one year and will automatically renew annually unless otherwise terminated.
Advocate Shahanur Islam, Founder President of JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France, expressed optimism about the partnership, noting that it marks an important step toward amplifying voices and strengthening international advocacy on prison-related human rights issues.
This collaboration is expected to foster greater knowledge-sharing and coordinated action among global stakeholders working to uphold human dignity and justice.

ফ্রান্সভিত্তিক একটি স্বাধীন, অলাভজনক ও অরাজনৈতিক মানবাধিকার সংস্থা জেএমবিএফ বাংলাদেশসহ বিশ্বব্যাপী ন্যায়বিচার প্রতিষ্ঠা এবং জনগণের ক্ষমতায়নে কাজ করে। সংস্থাটি লিঙ্গ, বর্ণ, জাত, ধর্ম নির্বিশেষে মৌলিক মানবাধিকার রক্ষা, শিক্ষা, সুরক্ষা এবং বাস্তবায়নে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।
প্রিজন ইনসাইডার একটি আন্তর্জাতিক তথ্যভিত্তিক প্ল্যাটফর্ম, যা বিশ্বজুড়ে কারাগারের পরিস্থিতি সম্পর্কিত তথ্য সংগ্রহ, যাচাই এবং প্রচার করে। বিভিন্ন ভাষায় তথ্য প্রকাশের মাধ্যমে সংস্থাটি সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি এবং কারাগারের অবস্থা ও মৌলিক অধিকার সংক্রান্ত অ্যাডভোকেসি কার্যক্রমকে সমর্থন করে।
এই চুক্তির আওতায় উভয় সংস্থা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কয়েকটি ক্ষেত্রে যৌথভাবে কাজ করবে। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে যৌথ তহবিল সংগ্রহের উদ্যোগ, যেখানে উভয় পক্ষ তাদের নিজ নিজ নেটওয়ার্কে সম্ভাব্য অর্থায়নের সুযোগ চিহ্নিত করে তা যৌথভাবে অনুসরণ করবে। এছাড়াও, যৌথ সম্পাদকীয় কার্যক্রমের অংশ হিসেবে জেএমবিএফ কারাগার পরিস্থিতি সংক্রান্ত প্রাথমিক তথ্য ও উপকরণ সরবরাহ করবে, যা প্রিজন ইনসাইডার তাদের সম্পাদকীয় নীতিমালা অনুযায়ী সম্পাদনা করে যৌথভাবে প্রকাশ করবে।
এই অংশীদারিত্ব নির্ভরযোগ্য তথ্যকে সহজলভ্য ও কার্যকর করে তোলার প্রতি উভয় সংস্থার অঙ্গীকারকে প্রতিফলিত করে, যা বিশ্বব্যাপী কারাগারে মানবাধিকার পরিস্থিতির উন্নয়নে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রাখবে।
এই সমঝোতা স্মারকটি স্বাক্ষরের তারিখ থেকে এক বছরের জন্য কার্যকর থাকবে এবং বাতিল না হলে প্রতি বছর স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে নবায়ন হবে।
জাস্টিসমেকার্স বাংলাদেশ ইন ফ্রান্সের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সভাপতি অ্যাডভোকেট শাহানুর ইসলাম এই অংশীদারিত্ব সম্পর্কে আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করে বলেন, এটি বাংলাদেশের কারাগার-সম্পর্কিত মানবাধিকার ইস্যুতে আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে কণ্ঠস্বর জোরদার এবং অ্যাডভোকেসি কার্যক্রমকে শক্তিশালী করার একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদক্ষেপ।

Paris, France | March 24, 2026: JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) and Prison Insider (PI) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in promoting and protecting human rights, particularly in relation to prison conditions worldwide.
