Paris, May 13, 2025 — JusticeMakers Bangladesh in France (JMBF) has officially been granted voting membership in CIVICUS – World Alliance for Citizen Participation, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing efforts to promote justice and civic engagement on a global scale.

The membership, valid from May 13, 2025, to May 13, 2028, grants JMBF a meaningful role in global civil society dialogues and decision-making within CIVICUS. As a voting member, the organization will contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the alliance and strengthening democratic participation worldwide.

CIVICUS is a renowned international coalition working to amplify citizen action and protect civil society across the globe. Voting membership is a recognition of JMBF’s sustained commitment to human rights, justice, and grassroots activism.

প্যারিস, ১৩ মে ২০২৫ — জাস্টিসমেকার্স বাংলাদেশ ইন ফ্রান্স (জেএমবিএফ) আন্তর্জাতিক নাগরিক অংশগ্রহণ জোট সিভিকাস (CIVICUS)-এর ভোটাধিকারসহ সদস্যপদ লাভ করেছে, যা সংগঠনটির বৈশ্বিক মানবাধিকার ও নাগরিক সক্রিয়তা অভিযানে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মাইলফলক।

এই সদস্যপদ ১৩ মে ২০২৫ থেকে ১৩ মে ২০২৮ পর্যন্ত কার্যকর থাকবে। এর মাধ্যমে জেএমবিএফ বৈশ্বিক সিভিল সোসাইটির আলোচনায় ও নীতিনির্ধারণী সিদ্ধান্তগ্রহণ প্রক্রিয়ায় সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারবে। ভোটাধিকারপ্রাপ্ত সদস্য হিসেবে জেএমবিএফ এখন সিভিকাস-এর কৌশলগত দিকনির্দেশনা প্রণয়নে এবং বিশ্বব্যাপী নাগরিক সম্পৃক্ততা জোরদারে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করবে।

সিভিকাস একটি খ্যাতনামা আন্তর্জাতিক জোট, যা নাগরিক সমাজকে শক্তিশালীকরণ এবং নাগরিকদের কণ্ঠস্বর উন্নীত করার লক্ষ্যে কাজ করে। এই সদস্যপদ প্রাপ্তি জেএমবিএফ-এর মানবাধিকার, ন্যায়বিচার ও তৃণমূল পর্যায়ে সক্রিয় সমাজকর্মে দীর্ঘদিনের অবদানের একটি আন্তর্জাতিক স্বীকৃতি।

জেএমবিএফ-এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও সভাপতি অ্যাডভোকেট শাহানুর ইসলাম বলেন,

Paris, le 13 mai 2025 — JusticeMakers Bangladesh en France (JMBF) a officiellement obtenu le statut de membre votant au sein de CIVICUS – Alliance mondiale pour la participation citoyenne, marquant une étape importante dans son engagement en faveur de la justice et de la participation civique à l’échelle mondiale.

Cette adhésion, valable du 13 mai 2025 au 13 mai 2028, permettra à JMBF de contribuer activement aux dialogues mondiaux sur la société civile et aux processus décisionnels de CIVICUS. En tant que membre votant, l'organisation jouera un rôle clé dans l’orientation stratégique de l’alliance et dans le renforcement de l’engagement citoyen à travers le monde.

CIVICUS est une alliance internationale de premier plan, dédiée à la promotion de l’action citoyenne et au renforcement de la société civile. Ce statut de membre votant reconnaît l'engagement constant de JMBF en faveur des droits humains, de la justice et de l’activisme communautaire.
